Sovki Ponds: A Natural Haven in the Heart of Kyiv

Sovki is a unique cascade of ponds located near the center of Kyiv — one of the city’s last remaining natural green zones of this scale.

This area is an important urban ecosystem that provides habitat for diverse wildlife rarely found in large metropolitan areas, including ducks, turtles, moorhens, and other species. Beyond its ecological value, Sovki is also a vital public space for recreation, reflection, and community life.

We believe that cities need spaces like Sovki — not only for biodiversity but also for people's well-being.
